I realize the weather was fairly mild last week, but it is freezing outside today. Why hasn't the building management turned back on the heat that is supposed to be included in my monthly rent along with the hot water, which often is not hot?
And why am I often cracking open twins from cartons of Grade A Jumbo Eggs distributed by Robert Nelms Egg Co., Bronx, NY 10488?
And why can I not stop craving Hauraches de Queso from Picante on Broadway and 139th?
Oh yea ...
Because my building management sucks.
I buy eggs from C Town.
Hauraches de Queso from Picante are awesome.

My building is routinely a sauna. I sleep with my windows open most nights - let's trade heating systems.
maybe its good luck...cause ive never cracked a twin!
Kelly, let's begin negotiations for a trade.
Chick (coincidence? LOL!), Get Nelms Grade A Jumbo Eggs - I average 2-3 sets of twins every few cartons.
I'm sure we can work something out - nevermind that you live uptown, and I am downtown.
My hot water sucks too, but I'm so overheated from the sauna effect that I never seem to notice or care anymore.
In the summertime, I don't notice the cold water because my un-airconditioned apartment bakes all day and steams all night.

It's moments like these that make me sincerely wish that someone in my family had moved to New York a hundred years ago and bought an apartment building, and not sold it. Seriously.
Dude. I wish this exact wish everyday. And when I pay my rent, I want to stab myself in the eyeballs.
I heard a myth that went something like that from a friend of mine - her boyfriend's sister's in-laws (or something convoluted like that) own a building on Prince St. They recently offered my friend a 1 bedroom for $2,200 (she didn't take it).
I'm waging my campaign for her to start inquiring about their available 2-bedrooms in the very near future.
We used to get twins all the time with the regular eggs. Now that we switched to those organic hormone-free free-range type eggs we don't get twins anymore. Lame.
