Pricing Out

Tomorrow, with the official renewal of my lease, my rent goes up $200 (and 200%). I will now be paying approximately $40 per night (the cost of a low-budget motel in North Carolina) to live in my 350-square-foot apartment (fittingly equivalent to the space of a low-budget motel room).

good lord. 350 square feet?? and $200 more a month? That sucks. I think my landlord forgot that my lease expired in May, so I'm just waiting for the day I get a notice it's going up.

WoW, homie! 200.00 more a month! Thats absurd. That's Manhattan though, it's untouchable, but very convenient!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't go up that much next year! If so, get out and get a house!! I hope to just bite the bullet and own a brownstone here within the next year or so because I can't take paying rent too much longer and not actually own something! Plus, it's a tax write off ;) Just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain. Mine went up to 1250 to 1400.00..so, join the club; you definately are not alone!!

Happy Holidays!!
