Summer Fridays are coming to an end. Labor Day Weekend marks the last Friday that I can leave the office at 2 p.m. and still receive pay for a full workday. I hung out in Bryant Park for an hour this afternoon, and below is a photo essay of my observations.

it's nice to stumble upon a fellow new yorker's site. keep posting!
Thanks for sharing your adventures! I moved to NYC seven years ago from Chicago. There is totally culture shock at first, and then you fall in love with the city. Hope you're having fun!!
How I wish Labor Day could mark the end of Summer for me. Summer, for a teacher, ends August 1st. That is way too soon - and too hot. Today it was 100 degrees here with a heat index of 107. My highschool students joked about having class outside by a pool - I'd be there in a hearbeat if we had one on campus. Enjoy your last few days. Do something special to celebrate life in New York at 2 pm.
